This Bathroom Is On My Bucket List – Dheat

This is designated heat. I’m Doc batting DH, and I’m bringing D-Heat!

Whenever the Braves play the Phillies, there is always a possibility that the AAA affiliate of the Phillies, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, will be mentioned – guys are called up and sent down between the major and minor leagues quite regularly. And whenever there is mention of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, I always remember their restrooms. I even remember when the new toilets were installed. It was just over two years ago. And this weird memory is because these lavatories are famous – famous for their…video games (and for being the first venue in the US to have these installed). The Coca-Cola Park’s bathrooms have combined video games with relieving oneself. International Signings

braves country

On the first official day of the international signing period, the Braves were quite active. The Braves made deals with SS Derian Cruz and CF Christian Pache, both from the Dominican Republic and both 16 years old. However, by signing both, the Braves went over their original spending allotment ($2.4 mil), thus forcing them to make some trades to get other teams’ spending cash. That meant trading P Cody Martin to Oakland, minor leaguers P Caleb Dirks and OF Jordan Paroubeck to the Dodgers, and minor leaguer P Garrett Fulenchek to Tampa Bay. CF Christian Pache was ranked #10 on’s international free-agent top 30 prospects list. SS Derian Cruz was ranked #5 according to Baseball America.
